Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dorrie Mclean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunther Loki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loki has chosen If I had a Heart, Fever Ray as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dorrie Mclean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gunther Loki!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mclean closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Loki's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Loki wants to stand and escape but Mclean is having none of it.
Mclean content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Loki preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Mclean lands a couple of elbows.
Mclean will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Mclean postures up in Loki's guard and throws a big left but Loki blocks it.
Mclean trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Mclean is looking to work some ground and pound but Loki has wrist control.
Mclean in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Mclean landing some decent shots from guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mclean accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Loki being controlled here, momentarily.
Mclean lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Mclean is working Loki over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Mclean controls from within his opponent's guard.
Mclean landing with the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Loki can't keep his opponent in guard - Mclean advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Loki wants to get back to his feet.
Mclean takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Loki avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Mclean.
Mclean looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mclean working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Mclean is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mclean has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Mclean thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Mclean lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mclean with the ground and pound but Loki uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Loki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mclean. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mclean scoring with some ground and pound.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mclean postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Mclean is in close to Loki's body, working some short punches and elbows.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dorrie Mclean dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Loki throws a hook but Mclean avoids it easily.
Mclean shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Mclean darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.


Loki is rocked!
Mclean winds up and cracks Loki with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Loki is still in real trouble! Can Mclean finish him?
Dorrie Mclean overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Mclean is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Loki is hurt! He's hurt bad - Mclean fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Loki from any more punishment! Congratulations to Mclean! Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dorrie Mclean!
