PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Musfa Caparzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Umba Matumba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caparzo comes into the arena with Moving Units (MLB 06 The Show Soundtrack) blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matumba fails to land with a series of punches.
Caparzo has a takedown stuffed.
Matumba stalks Caparzo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Caparzo's face. Caparzo staggers backwards, shaken.
Matumba displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Caparzo.
Caparzo goes for a double leg but Matumba avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Matumba continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Musfa Caparzo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Caparzo jumps guard but Matumba turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Matumba tries to break the clinch but Caparzo is controlling the position.
Caparzo is trying to pull guard but Matumba has him pressed against the cage.

Matumba escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Good standup being displayed there by Matumba as he connects with a hook.
Umba Matumba is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Caparzo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Caparzo takes a jab right on the kisser.
Caparzo loses concentration momentarily and Matumba pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Caparzo crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Matumba finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
