Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Sullivan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dillian Bone!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bone misses with a body kick.
Bone misses with a straight left.
Sullivan scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bone in his tracks.
Sullivan throws a poor cross that misses
and Bone counters with a head kick. That will keep Sullivan thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Bone avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sullivan has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Ivan's house of pain [200$] in the buildup to the fight.

Sullivan drops Bone with a left and a right! Oh, Bone is hurt - Sullivan dives into side control looking to finish!


Bone is rocked!


It looks like Dillian Bone has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bone is not content to let Sullivan control the position.
Bone is still in real trouble! Can Sullivan finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sullivan tries to score with some ground and pound. Bone controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Bone tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Bone explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

and Bone counters with a flying knee. Nice.
A head kick misses from Sullivan.
James Sullivan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bone blocks a head kick by Sullivan.
Sullivan jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A slow jab from Sullivan misses its intended target.
Bone shoots in for a takedown but Sullivan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Bone drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Sullivan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bone controls the pace.
Sullivan keeping moving, preventing Bone from controlling successfully.
Bone seems to have recovered his senses.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Sullivan wants to stand but Bone is controlling the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Dillian Bone was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Bone throws a head kick that misses.

Bone gets a double leg takedown into Sullivan's guard.
Bone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sullivan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bone is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Bone stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Sullivan lands the left hand.
Bone moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Sullivan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bone.
Sullivan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bone misses with a combination
and Sullivan counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Bone! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Sullivan!
An out of breath James Sullivan thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
