Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rasputin Briar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Loow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andy Loow has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rasputin Briar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Andy Loow! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Loow ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Briar uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Loow. Loow steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Briar. Briar looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Briar dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Briar rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Loow counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Loow tries to clinch but Briar moves away and Briar counters with a lovely straight right hand! Loow tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Briar defends well and Loow ends up having to push Briar into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loow drops down looking for an ankle pick but Briar pulls his leg out and moves away.
Briar throws a poor cross that misses
and Loow counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Loow wants to break free but Briar has control.
Briar manages to break the clinch.
Briar keeps the fight on the outside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Briar throws an off balance right hand
and Loow connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Loow throws the left hand but Briar avoids the punch easily. Loow slips under a jab from Briar. Loow closes the distance but Briar moves to the side and Briar counters with a stiff right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Briar as he jumps to the side. Rasputin Briar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Loow. Briar misses with a left hand and Loow counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Loow takes the fight into the clinch. Loow jumps guard but Briar turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Briar is trying to break the clinch but Loow is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Loow is working for takedown but Briar is calmly controlling the position for now. Briar wants to break the clinch but can't.
Loow lands a hook that snaps the head of Briar backwards. Loow is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Briar is defending well. Loow wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Briar has him pressed against the cage. Briar stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rasputin Briar will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Loow misses with a looping right. Loow falls off balance throwing a combination
and Briar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Nice shot lands for Briar. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Loow shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Loow stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Briar is looking for a sweep. Loow is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Loow takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Andy Loow was stalling too much, according to the referee. Briar throws a big shot that misses. Briar could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. A jab from Briar misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Loow wants to clinch but Briar slips to the side and Briar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Briar misses with a looping left. Loow slips a straight right by Briar. Loow shoots in looking for a takedown. Briar tries to sprawl out of it but Loow keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Briar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Loow tries to clinch but Briar moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loow misses with a straight left. A big right from Briar misses. A telegraphed right hand from Loow misses the target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The fighters circling - Briar throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Loow closes the distance and pushes Briar back into the cage. Briar misses with a hook to the ribs.
Loow fails to pull guard.
Briar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Rasputin Briar will probably get the nod. That's time! Briar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Loow tries to close the distance and clinch up but Briar swats him away and circles back towards the center. Briar stuffs the takedown attempt from Loow. Loow gets slowly back to his feet. Briar connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Loow misses with a hook. Loow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Briar avoids it really well and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loow pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Rasputin Briar is winning the standup battle so far. Briar misses with a lunging right hand
and Loow counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Briar is lucky that one didn't land flush. Briar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Briar scores with a jab. Loow acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Loow throws a good cross that connects.
Rasputin Briar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Loow wants to clinch. Briar looks to land a right hand but Loow moved out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Briar keeps the fight on the outside. Loow misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Rasputin Briar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Loow. Loow tries to clinch but Briar is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Briar blocks a jab. Nice jab there from Briar. Briar throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Andy Loow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Briar lands a jab to the head.
Loow cracks Briar with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Loow has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Briar to stand back up!
And that's the end of the fight! Andy Loow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Briar has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
