Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Elferic Nog!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goodwin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Goodwin showed some decent athleticism there.
Nog is looking to escape.
Goodwin missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Goodwin is taking a breather. Nog says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Goodwin is looking for a kimura here.
Goodwin trying to mount his opponent but Nog defends it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Goodwin missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Goodwin perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Nog wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Graham Goodwin wasn't doing enough on the ground.
A head kick misses from Goodwin.
Nog fails with the takedown

and Goodwin counters by moving into the clinch.
Goodwin gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Nog.

Goodwin gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Nog looks winded!
Nog avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Goodwin.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Goodwin in particular looking to stall.
Nog really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Goodwin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Goodwin decides to stand and escape the position.

Nog gets caught flat footed, as Goodwin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
