The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogers instigates a clinch. Rogers is trying to break free. Rogers jumps guard and drags Lesnar to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Lesnar wants to control from the top but Rogers keeps moving. Lesnar drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rogers looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rogers looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rogers! Lesnar takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Lesnar tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Rogers easily slips into full mount! Lesnar is looking to improve his position but Rogers isn't that keen on the idea. Rogers scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Lesnar?

Rogers is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Lesnar is surviving well by controlling Rogers's body position as best he can. Lesnar is trying to escape the mount.
Lesnar is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Rogers lands with some strikes. Lesnar tries to improve his position but Rogers has taken his back! Rogers has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Lesnar tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Rogers pushes Lesnar away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
