Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zhen Ji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Stariy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ji scores with a jab.
Ji lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Stariy backs up against the cage.
It looks like Igor Stariy has been cut.
Ji throws a right and a left that Stariy avoids nicely.
Stariy misses with a takedown
and Ji holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Ji breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Stariy has his takedown stuffed
and Ji moves into the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stariy has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ji uses from the top position.
Ji sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Ji has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ji stops Stariy from standing up.

Stariy is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Ji pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stariy is keeping the position for now.
Ji is stalling in the full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ji lands with a good body shot.
Stariy takes one to the side of the head.
Stariy has his takedown stuffed
and Ji counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Stariy thinking.
Zhen Ji has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Stariy.
Stariy looks winded!
Nice combo by Ji! Oh, that's hurt him - Stariy falls to the canvas and Ji follows him into side control.
Stariy is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ji has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Stariy is still in real trouble! Can Ji finish him?
Ji lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ji loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Stariy scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Ji land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Ji stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zhen Ji!
