The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pistole misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pistole is looking to clinch.
McFadden throws a sloppy head kick and Pistole moves out of range easily.
McFadden scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Pistole is working to avoid the ground and pound but McFadden connects with a decent elbow.
McFadden has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Check out the look on McFadden's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
McFadden cracks Pistole with a big elbow.
It looks like Ronny Pistole has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McFadden is working to tighten his grip on Pistole's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pistole has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but McFadden is really squeezing tight and eventually Pistole passes out! McFadden breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
