Long misses with a takedown

and Hammer counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Long's guard now.
Hammer throws a big right hand that misses.
Long keeping moving, preventing Hammer from controlling successfully.
Long can't keep his opponent in guard - Hammer advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Long is breathing heavily.
Hammer content to control rather than advance.
Hammer landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Long wants to improve his position but Hammer is controlling well.
Hammer has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Hammer lands a big shot there that rocks Long but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Long is rocked!

Hammer has hold of Long's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Long manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Oh Long is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hammer is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Long goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Hammer!
