Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bim Bham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cedric Yerly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yerly comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hymne fribourgeois kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bim Bham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cedric Yerly!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bham takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Bham swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Yerly.
Yerly takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Bham jabs Yerly to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Bham lands a nice shot to the body.
Yerly moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Bham moves out of range of the body kick.
Yerly is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Bham lands a nice shot to the body.
Bim Bham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yerly takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Bham comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bham fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Yerly looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bham lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Yerly needs to keep his hands up - Bham had a free shot at his head there.

Yerly takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Yerly blocks a head kick by Bham.
Nice uppercut lands for Bham. That snapped Yerly's head back.

Bham misses with a looping right.
Bham throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bham ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Yerly fails with a takedown attempt.

Yerly throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bham fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Yerly looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jab from Bham.
Bim Bham is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bham stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Bham lands a jab.
Bham leaves Yerly with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bham jabs Yerly to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Yerly drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bham lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bham scores with a jab to the head.
Bham throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Yerly on the side of the head.
Yerly drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Yerly gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Bham lands with a straight right. Yerly didn't see that one coming.
Bham lands a body shot.
Yerly fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bham comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
We've been informed that Yerly has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Bham clobbers Yerly with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bham sizes up Yerly with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Yerly takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Yerly on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Yerly gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bham counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bim Bham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cedric Yerly.
Bham lunges at Yerly with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Yerly's hand.
Bham feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Yerlys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yerly is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Yerly walks into a jab.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nice body punch from Bham.
Yerly fails with an attempt to clinch.
Yerly has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Bham shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Yerly eats them both and turns towards Bham to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bim Bham dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Yerly takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bham scores with a hook.
Yerly fails with the takedown.
Yerly takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Yerly takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Bham bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Yerly's head backwards.
Bham displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Yerly.
Bham bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Yerly's head.
Yerly on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A jab from Bham does it's job there.

Bham uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Yerly is trying desperately to land a takedown but Bham is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Yerly.
Good exchange - Bham coming out on top.
Bham lands a glancing blow to the side of Yerly's head.
Bham cracks Yerly with a right hand to the side of the head.
Yerly moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Bim Bham is winning the standup battle so far.
Bham lands with a nice combination. Yerly backs away looking to recover.
Bham lands the left hand.
Bham lands a jab-cross combination.
Yerly takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bham scores with a nice head shot.

Bham tries to keep at a distance but Yerly has taken the fight into the clinch.

Yerly can't get the takedown.
Bim Bham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cedric Yerly.
Bham misses with a body punch.
Bham tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Yerly stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Bham tries to work over Yerly's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Yerly avoids the elbow strike from Bham, against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bham using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Yerly has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Yerly goes for a takedown attempt but Bham pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bham wants to slow Yerly down by chopping away at his legs.

Bham fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Yerly takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bham swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Yerly takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Yerly misses with a hook. Bham ducked under it nicely.

Yerly misses with a jab, cross combination.

Bham lands an overhand right.

Yerly throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bham was covering up waiting for the punch and Yerly finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Yerly is in close to Bham's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Bham on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bham tries to get out of the position.
Bham looking to control.
Yerly postures up and lands a big shot to Bham's brow.
Yerly scoring with some ground and pound.
Bham knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yerly on the ground.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Yerly lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Bham escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yerly gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Yerly working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bham's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Cedric Yerly will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Bham looks to score with a jab to the body but Yerly is just out of range.

Bham throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yerly stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Bham lands the left hand.
Yerly will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bham keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Yerly instigates a clinch.

Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Yerly can't get the takedown.
Yerly has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bham avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Bim Bham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cedric Yerly.
Yerly avoiding damage as Bham throws knees to the body.

Yerly has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bham clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Yerly is not going to allow Bham to sit and survive in this position.
Yerly has the hooks in. Bham is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Yerly scores with punches to the body.
Bham grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Yerly is landing big shots and Bham is squirming looking to escape! He can't escape though and the ref jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cedric Yerly!
Our winner, Cedric Yerly, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
