Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lis shoots in looking for a takedown but Kakoullis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kakoullis throws a hook to the side of Lis's head but Lis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lis shoots in but Kakoullis avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lis tries to clinch up
and Kakoullis counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Kakoullis lands with a straight right. Lis didn't see that one coming.
Kakoullis scoring well with a low kick there.
A big left from Lis misses.
Lis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kakoullis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Msciwoj Lis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kakoullis fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lis, pushing him back against the cage.
Our sources have told us that Lis has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Lis is looking to control Kakoullis's arms but Kakoullis gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lis has his back to the cage.
Lis is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kakoullis pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Lis drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Kakoullis lands with a short shot to the head.
Kakoullis has Lis pressed against the cage, preventing Lis from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Kakoullis lands a right hand.
Lis working hard to break the clinch.
Lis has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kakoullis after a bit of a struggle.
Kakoullis lands a left hand that snaps the head of Lis backwards.
Lis jumps guard but Kakoullis stands there with Lis around his waist. Lis gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Kakoullis pushes Lis back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Nice body punch from Kakoullis - that landed with a thud.
Lis is breathing heavily.
Kakoullis gets underhooks to prevent Lis's takedown attempt.
Lis tries for a takedown. No joy.
Kakoullis scores with a hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kakoullis gets through Lis's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Oh Lis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Lis tries to score a body lock takedown but Kakoullis shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Lis seems to have got his legs back now.
Kakoullis creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Lis with a big uppercut! Lis tries to clinch up but Kakoullis pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Lis to the mat! Lis covers up and Kakoullis unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Sotiris Kakoullis!
