Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charly Carmona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charly Carmona will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ray King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Charly Carmona! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King fails with a takedown attempt. Carmona throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Carmona misses with a takedown attempt - King sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. King shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Carmona shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says King as he avoids it easily. Carmona misses with a kick to the body and King cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Carmona gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows King to score an easy takedown into full guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Carmona controls King momentarily but King frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. King engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carmona throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! King escapes and throws Carmona's legs to the side, diving into side control! King working the ground and pound. King cracks Carmona with an elbow. That is naaassty. King taking a breather here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carmona is looking for a sweep. King in side control lands a decent elbow. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. King is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Carmona will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Carmona tries to control the position but he's not in luck - King easily slips into full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. King lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Carmona is trying to escape the mount.
Carmona is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. King avoids the attempt from Carmona to control. King controlling the pace for now. Carmona tries to hold on but King postures up. King definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King lands with some strikes. King looking to control and managing it successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. King landing strikes, looking to finish! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray King dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
King ducks under a wild hook from Carmona. Carmona throws a body kick, spinning off balance and King counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Carmona slaps away a takedown attempt from King, before circling back to the center of the mat. King looks for a takedown but Carmona sprawls well. Carmona has a takedown stuffed. Carmona tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but King defends well and Carmona ends up having to push King into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. King breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Carmona has his takedown stuffed and King counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ray King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charly Carmona.
That's one minute gone in the round. King leaves Carmona with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Carmona dives in for a single leg takedown but King sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. King breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
King tries for a takedown but Carmona sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Carmona shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with King but King pushes him off and we're back to square one. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from King. King fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carmona tries to score a power double leg takedown but King sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carmona somewhat. Carmona will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. King displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Carmona. Carmona fails with a takedown attempt. King closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Carmona quickly recovers to half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
King seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Carmona for as long as he can get away with.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carmona trying to get back to full guard but King takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Carmona tries to lock up and control but King gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. King working Carmona over with strikes here. Carmona takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. King sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Carmona is looking to get to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King controlling his opponent. Carmona working to try and regain half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray King dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Carmona pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Charly Carmona is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. King fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Carmona avoids it really well and circles away. King decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Carmona really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Carmona is trying to control but King manages to pass to mount!

That's one minute gone in the round. King prevents Carmona from getting the reversal. King sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Carmona regains half guard. Carmona is trying to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carmona is trying to defend against the ground and pound but King scores with a couple of nice shots. King keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Carmona is trying to get back to full guard. King slips a nice elbow through Carmona's hands, connecting with Carmona's forehead. King has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Carmona is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute King jumps into side control! Carmona sneaks back into half guard. Carmona taking some punishment here, with King in his half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Well, if King is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's four minutes gone in the round. King controlling the position from side mount. King working the ground and pound. King taking a breather here. King gets to mount! Carmona was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
And that's the end of the fight! Ray King showed his dominance in that final round. Well King has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
