Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fatton fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Fatton could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fatton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sloan is fending him off so far but Fatton persists. Nope, Sloan circles away and we're back to standing.
Fatton dives in and grabs Sloan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sloan pushes down on Fatton's head and hops out.

Fatton shoots in looking for a takedown but Sloan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fatton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sloan scores with a crisp jab that stopped Fatton in his tracks.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Fatton drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sloan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Sloan lands a jab to Fatton's midsection.

and Sloan counters with a left to the body.

Sloan tries a head kick but it misses.

Fatton tries for a takedown but Sloan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Sloan lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sloan.
Sloan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Sloan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Sloan dips to his left and cracks Fatton with an uppercut!
Sloan looks to land a combination. Fatton sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Sloan moves into the clinch successfully.
Fatton keeps control of Sloan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Sloan can't find room to land a body shot as Fatton controls the action.

Fatton tries to pull guard but Sloan won't allow it.

Sloan manages to break the clinch.
Sloan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fatton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Fatton wants to free his trapped foot but Sloan is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sloan is breathing heavily.
Fatton is trying to ground and pound but Sloan uses the momentary lack of control by Fatton to regain half guard.
