Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Courchesne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Courchesne comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lux Aeterna By Clint Mansell kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jonathan Courchesne will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Courchesne shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Woods takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Woods has been working on his boxing with his coaches at CCF's Flying Circus in the buildup to the fight.
Nice sprawl there from Courchesne as Woods shoots in.

Courchesne throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Woods was covering up waiting for the punch and Courchesne finishes the takedown easily into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Courchesne shoots in looking for a takedown. Woods tries to sprawl out of it but Courchesne keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Woods manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Courchesne has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Woods is working away from the top position though.

Well Courchesne has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
