Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Segundo Alejandro Prato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Verush Manakain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Segundo Alejandro Prato! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Verush Manakain! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab lands there for Manakain. A big left from Manakain misses. Manakain closes the distance and lands a one-two. Prato closes the distance and clinches. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Prato tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Manakain blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Prato misses with a punch to the body.
Prato goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Manakain. A head punch on the inside from Prato fails to land. Manakain is trying to break the clinch but Prato is controlling him. Manakain's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Prato tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Manakain's elbow. Prato tries to break free but Manakain pushes him back against the cage. Prato misses with the head strike.
Manakain has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Prato seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Manakain can turn it around. Prato has a couple of punches blocked by Manakain.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prato misses with a punch to the body.
Prato lands a body shot. Manakain blocks a body shot from Prato. Prato tries to work over Manakain's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Prato lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Manakain blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Prato has Manakain pressed against the cage, preventing Manakain from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Prato working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Prato tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Prato misses with the head strike.
Manakain is looking to break free of the clinch but Prato has double underhooks. Prato working aggressively here.
Prato gets through Manakain's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prato fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Prato breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Manakain throws out a leg kick but Prato moves out of range and Manakain only half commits. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Manakain swings widly with a right hand
and Prato counters with a takedown into side control. This has been an exciting period of action! An elbow from Prato crashes against the mat.
Prato goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Manakain rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Prato's guard! Nice work there by Manakain! Prato is looking for a triangle but Manakain pushes his legs off easily.
Prato escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Manakain gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Manakain got a little sloppy there for a moment and Prato has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Manakain has managed to get both his arms back between Prato's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prato wants to sweep here but Manakain controlling him for the moment. Prato has his foot on Manakain's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Manakain works his way back into a safe position though. Prato is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Manakain is aware though and is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Prato controlling the position. Prato has a closed guard, preventing Manakain from standing up. Prato has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Manakain can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Prato working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Manakain doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Manakain manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
