Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Tyler!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gitarre tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Tyler closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gitarre blocking the ground and pound attempt from Tyler.
Gitarre wants to control but Tyler is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Gitarre actively working from the bottom here.
Gitarre makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gitarre.
Tyler throwing strikes from guard but Gitarre blocks nicely.
Gitarre pulls Tyler in close to prevent any damage.
Tyler tries to stand but Gitarre is controlling from the bottom.
Tyler scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gitarre is looking for a triangle but Tyler pushes his legs off easily.

Gitarre tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Tyler is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Gitarre keeping full guard, as Tyler tries to pass.
Tyler works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Gitarre is pressing down on Tyler's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Tyler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gitarre. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gitarre working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tyler doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tyler manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Tyler must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Gitarre has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tyler can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gitarre looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Gitarre had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tyler is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gitarre Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tyler's back instead.
Tyler trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.

Tyler is trying to defend against the choke here but Gitarre has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Gitarre Tightens the hold and Tyler taps out furiously! Gitarre displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
