Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, B Ron Trilliss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Spider Trenton! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trilliss shoots and misses and Trenton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Trilliss shoots in and drives through. Trenton sprawls well. B Ron Trilliss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jab, jab by Trenton - just one landing. Trenton throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Nice jab there from Trenton. Trilliss shoots in and drives through. Trenton sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for B Ron Trilliss. That's going to take a lot out of him. A lazy left from Trenton finds it's target. Trenton throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Trilliss on the side of the head. Trilliss throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Trenton's waist but Trenton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Trilliss off to one side. Trenton leaves Trilliss with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Trenton's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Trenton duly obliges. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Trilliss changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Trenton tries to avoid it but Trilliss manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Trenton to the ground. Trenton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Trilliss shoots in looking for a takedown but Trenton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Trilliss's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Trilliss takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Trilliss has his takedown stuffed enabling Trenton to counter with a crisp jab.
Trilliss is rocked! Trilliss closes the distance looking to clinch and Trenton counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Spider Trenton! Spider Trenton decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
