Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurley blocks a head kick by Andreasen.
Andreasen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hurley swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice takedown defense from Andreasen. No joy for Hurley on that attempt.

and Hurley decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Andreasen's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Hurley is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Andreasen keeping moving, preventing Hurley from controlling successfully.
Andreasen wants to get back to his feet but Hurley is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Hurley controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gary Hurley.
Andreasen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hurley, pushing him back against the cage.
Hurley jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Andreasen walks away with a smile on his face. Hurley gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hurley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Andreasen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hurley somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary Hurley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hurley misses the shot to the body.
Hurley misses with a kick to the body
and Andreasen counters with a good low kick that Hurley was not able to check.
Andreasen wants to clinch.
Andreasen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hurley.

Andreasen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hurley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Hurley.
Hurley moves into full mount!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hurley unloads with some shots from mount but Andreasen bucks and avoids them well.
Andreasen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Andreasen can't escape the position.
Andreasen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hurley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hurley wants to control the pace but Andreasen is squirming around nicely.

Andreasen is looking to get to half guard.
Andreasen wants to hold on but Hurley pushes him away.
Hurley lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Hurley trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Hurley throws some wild stikes that Andreasen manages to avoid easily.

Hurley looking to control but Andreasen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Andreasen tries to improve his position but Hurley has taken his back! Hurley has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Andreasen tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Hurley pushes Andreasen away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
