0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Savoie! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savoie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Savoie takes the fight into the clinch. Savoie trying to land knees to the body.
Savoie is looking for a takedown. Savoie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Savoie shoots in looking for a takedown but Pugh manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Savoie's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Brant Pugh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Savoie. Pugh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Savoie throws a quick inside leg kick. Savoie is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Savoie shoots in but no luck this time. Pugh fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Savoie looks to clinch and Pugh holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Pugh pulls guard effortlessly.

Pugh bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Savoie's guard. Pugh looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Savoie is aware though and is defending well. Pugh wants to sweep here but Savoie controlling him for the moment. Savoie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pugh but Pugh pushes him off and we're back to square one. Pugh shoots in looking for a takedown but Savoie manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pugh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Savoie stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Savoie wants it to stay on the feet. Savoie is looking to land body kicks. Savoie throws a jab but it's blocked by Pugh. Savoie slaps away a takedown attempt from Pugh, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's four minutes gone in the round. Savoie tries to keep at a distance but Pugh has taken the fight into the clinch. Savoie jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pugh walks away with a smile on his face. Savoie gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Pugh closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Pugh stalling.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pugh is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pugh sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Savoie's guard. Savoie looking for submissions off his back. Brant Pugh overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pugh looks to land a strike but Savoie avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Savoie wants to control but Pugh passes easily into half guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pugh has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pugh thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Pugh looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Savoie is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Pugh stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pugh will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Pugh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Savoie is looking to clinch. Savoie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pugh shoots in looking for a takedown. Savoie tries to sprawl out of it but Pugh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Savoie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Savoie tries to clinch up.
And that's the end of the fight! Brant Pugh showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pugh, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
