Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Griffon Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James has chosen ``Allouttangst``-NOFX as his entrance music. Hunt is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Griffon Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike James!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Hunt is breathing heavily.
James fails with a takedown attempt.
James gets the takedown into side control.
James scores with punches from side control.
James cracks Hunt with a big elbow.
Hunt is rocked!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Oh Hunt is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
James looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Hunt seems to have got his legs back now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
James is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hunt knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That's one minute gone in the round.
James tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
James is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hunt's shoulder. That is not cool.
James stands up.
Mike James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
James tries to close the distance and clinch but Hunt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
James decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
James passes to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
James controlling from side mount.
Hunt is looking to regain half guard here but James keeps moving and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
James has an Americana. Hunt didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! James is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if James hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Mike James!
