Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chase Blevins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jenny Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jenny Jones!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a hook but Blevins blocks it.
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.

Blevins throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jones was covering up waiting for the punch and Blevins finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Jones's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jenny Jones was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Blevins pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A big right from Jones misses.
Chase Blevins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Blevins.
Blevins trying to control the position but Jones is working away.

Blevins looking to control but instead Jones has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Blevins blocks the strikes from Jones.
Jones has his hands clasped together around Blevins's back. He's all about the action.
Jones tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Blevins is trying to control. Jones wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Blevins tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Jones.

Jones keeping control of the position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Blevins shoots in and bounces Jones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Blevins trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.
Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Blevins wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.

Blevins postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chase Blevins has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Blevins tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.
Blevins throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Blevins fails in his attempt to clinch.

Blevins shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Blevins was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jones is trying to control Blevins's posture but Blevins avoids it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chase Blevins dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Blevins shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jones manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Jones is controlling Blevins's posture.
Blevins looking to pass the guard.
Blevins looking to sit in guard and control but Jones gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Blevins will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Blevins wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Jones is now in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Blevins wants to get back to full guard but Jones has mounted him!
Jones trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Jones misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Blevins is working to get back to half guard.

Jones pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Jones tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Blevins is trying desperately to improve position.

Jones is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Blevins can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Jones lands a big elbow.
Jones looking to control and managing it successfully.
Jones scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Blevins?
Jones wants to control but Blevins has made it back to half guard. Nice work.
Jones wants to take a breather but Blevins is having none of it.

Blevins wants to sweep but Jones has passed to side control!
Blevins is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Blevins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.
Blevins trying his best to control but Jones has mounted him.

Jenny Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!


Blevins darts in trying to clinch
letting Jones counter with a right hand.

Blevins looking to score a takedown here. Jones is defending well but Blevins drives through and ends up in Jones's guard.

Blevins has gone for a leg lock! Jones slips out almost immediately though and dives into Blevins's guard.

Blevins looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Jones passes into half guard.
Jones looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Jones trying to control from half guard but Blevins is working away.
Jenny Jones has got the better of the ground game so far.
Blevins controlling the position well.
Blevins is trying to maintain the position but Jones is very close to passing his half guard.
Jones content to control rather than advance.

Jones has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Jones controlling his opponent.
Jones should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Blevins tries to lock up and control but Jones gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Blevins is wriggling around trying to escape.

Jones has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Blevins's face.
Jones avoids the attempt from Blevins to control.
Jones wants to control the pace but Blevins is squirming around nicely.

Blevins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jones landing strikes from the mount and Blevins is in trouble!
Blevins can't escape the position.

Jenny Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Jones has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
