1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jose Menderia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Il Cheol Kim! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim lands a two punch combo.

Kim tries to bum rush Menderia with a series of wild strikes but Menderia uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Menderia wants to stand but Kim has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Kim is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Kim uses the cage to get back to his feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Menderia lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Kim misses with a jab, cross combination.
Menderia stalks Kim and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kim's face. Kim staggers backwards, shaken. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
