Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eldon Pena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jovan Ruzic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Eldon Pena has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ruzic.
Ruzic goes for a double leg but Pena avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pena continues to drive forward.

Eldon Pena has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jovan Ruzic.

Pena is pressed up against the cage. Ruzic has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pena down to the mat. Pena avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ruzic shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pena sprawls well. Pena wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ruzic gets slowly back to his feet.

Pena goes for an armbar but Ruzic turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Ruzic.
Pena could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Pena is striking but Ruzic is not phased and passes to half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ruzic's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jovan Ruzic was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Ruzic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pena's waist but Pena gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ruzic off to one side.
Ruzic closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pena circles away.
Pena lands with a nice combination. Ruzic backs away looking to recover.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ruzic wants to take the fight to the mat but Pena manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Eldon Pena will probably get the nod.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ruzic can do anything to dispel that myth.

Pena might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

I would just about give that final round to Jovan Ruzic.
