The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skrobic closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Oran should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Skrobic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Oran lands a really nice looking cross but Skrobic seems unphased.
Skrobic has his takedown stuffed and Oran counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Skrobic is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Oran has his hands clasped together but Skrobic extends and breaks Oran's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Skrobic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Milorad Skrobic!
