Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Len Myers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boss Ssob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boss Ssob has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Len Myers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Boss Ssob! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ssob is trying hard to land a takedown here. Myers sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Myers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ssob circles away. Ssob wants to clinch. Myers really is a fat lump. Ssob takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Ssob shoots in looking for a takedown. Myers tries to sprawl out of it but Ssob keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Myers manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jab from Ssob. Ssob will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Myers throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ssob's waist but Ssob gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Myers off to one side. Myers shoots in but Ssob avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Len Myers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Myers tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ssob defends well and Myers ends up having to push Ssob into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ssob breaks the clinch.
Ssob has closed the distance and engaged Myers in a clinch.
Myers pushes Ssob back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Ssob looking for a takedown. Ssob pressing his opponent against the cage. Ssob is trying to push Myers away but Myers has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. A bit of stalling here from Ssob.
Myers wants to break the clinch but can't.
Ssob avoiding damage as Myers throws knees to the body.
A frustrated look appears on Ssob's face as he tries to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Myers jumps guard but Ssob stands there with Myers around his waist. Myers gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ssob drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Myers gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Myers gets underhooks to prevent Ssob's takedown attempt.
Myers will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Ssob up against the cage. Ssob prevents the takedown attempt.
Ssob breaks the clinch.
Myers stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Myers wants it to stay on the feet. Myers rushes Ssob and presses him up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ssob tries for a takedown. No joy.
Ssob struggles to land a body shot inside as Myers controls his hands.
Ssob lands a right hand that snaps the head of Myers backwards. Ssob tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Myers just stands there and leans against the cage. Myers looking for a takedown. Myers pulls guard effortlessly. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Ssob gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Ssob shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Myers as he avoids it easily. Ssob fails to land the takedown. Ssob looks winded! No joy there for Myers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice sprawl there from Ssob as Myers shoots in.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ssob paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Myers shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ssob sprawls well. Ssob wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Myers gets slowly back to his feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ssob fails with a takedown attempt. Myers fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ssob has closed the distance and engaged Myers in a clinch.
Ssob is trying to pull guard but Myers turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boss Ssob dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ssob fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Myers takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Ssob rushes Myers and presses him up against the cage. Ssob has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Myers drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ssob gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Myers prevents Ssob from breaking the clinch. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Myers obliges. Ssob pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Myers stuffs the takedown. Myers's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Myers duly obliges.
It looks like Boss Ssob has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Myers shoots in but no luck this time. Ssob keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Len Myers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Myers shoots in but Ssob avoids the takedown attempt easily. Myers stuffs the takedown attempt from Ssob. Ssob gets slowly back to his feet. Myers tries to clinch but Ssob moves out of range. Ssob feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Myers's calf. Myers stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Myers wants it to stay on the feet. Myers takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ssob looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Ssob slips a straight right by Myers. Ssob shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Myers sprawls well. Myers wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ssob gets slowly back to his feet. Ssob tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ssob tries to clinch but Myers moves away and Myers counters with a straight right hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Myers is defended easily by Ssob. Ssob fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Myers scores with a hook to the body. Ssob takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Myers shoots in for a double leg but Ssob sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Ssob pushes Myers up against the cage in a clinch. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Myers breaks from the clinch.
Ssob ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Myers tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ssob swivels and escapes. Ssob closes this distance looking for a takedown but Myers circles away. Nice shot by Ssob. Myers tries to keep at a distance but Ssob has taken the fight into the clinch. Myers fails to pull guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ssob lands a good knee to the midsection. Myers won't want to take too many of those. Ssob is defending well against a takedown attempt. Ssob leaning his opponent against the cage. Ssob breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ssob rushes Myers and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A nice right hand lands inside from Myers. Ssob prevents the takedown attempt.
Ssob's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Boss Ssob will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Boss Ssob's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Ssob is trying hard to land a takedown here. Myers sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ssob darts in looking for a takedown but Myers gets double underhooks and turns Ssob into the cage. Ssob breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Myers shoots in for a takedown but Ssob shows good takedown defense. Myers doesn't manage to clinch there - Ssob circles away.
Myers tries to clinch up. Ssob tries to score a power double leg takedown but Myers sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ssob somewhat. Len Myers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boss Ssob. Ssob closes the distance and clinches. Ssob takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ssob wants to take the fight to the mat but Myers manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Ssob is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Myers gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Myers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ssob fails with a takedown attempt. Ssob shoots in for a takedown but Myers shows good takedown defense. Len Myers is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Myers instigates a clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Myers - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Ssob wants a takedown but no success here.
Myers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Myers misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ssob shoots for a takedown but Myers saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ssob tries to keep at a distance but Myers has taken the fight into the clinch. Boss Ssob seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Myers has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ssob avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Myers gets control of Ssob's arms and successfully pulls guard. Myers will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Ssob wants to control from the top but Myers keeps moving. Myers pulls Ssob in close to his closed guard and prevents Ssob from doing any damage or advancing position. Myers controls Ssob momentarily but Ssob frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Len Myers. Ssob throws a wild body kick that Myers sees coming a mile off. Myers has managed to clinch.
Ssob jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Myers walks away with a smile on his face. Ssob gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Some wild striking there from Ssob.
Myers shoots in looking for a takedown. Ssob tries to sprawl out of it but Myers keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ssob manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Myers will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ssob clinches up against the cage. Myers stops a takedown attempt from Ssob.
Myers wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Ssob tries to pull guard but Myers won't allow it.
Myers throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ssob blocks it with crossed arms. Myers takes a shot to the head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ssob struggles to land a body shot inside as Myers controls his hands.
Myers is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ssob to keep the fight standing. Len Myers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boss Ssob is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Ssob breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Len Myers. I think Ssob has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
