The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gabriel shoots in but Alexander avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Alexander stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Alexander wants it to stay on the feet.
Alexander tries to clinch but Gabriel moves out of range.
Gabriel pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Nice sprawl there from Alexander as Gabriel shoots in.
Goran Alexander has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henrique Gabriel.
Alexander fails in his attempt to clinch.
Gabriel is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Alexander throws a front kick aimed at Gabriel's knee but Gabriel avoids it well.
Gabriel keeps the fight on the outside.
Alexander throws a right hand that Gabriel ducks under and follows up with a left that Gabriel also avoids with ease.
Alexander thows a body shot but no joy.
Gabriel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Gabriel wants to land a leg kick but Alexander is out of range.
Gabriel misses with a takedown
and as Gabriel loses concentration momentarily, Alexander counters with a picture perfect head kick! Gabriel goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Goran Alexander!
A relieved looking Goran Alexander thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
