The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gambino tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vinetto paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gambino throws a lazy right hand but Vinetto sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Gambino darts in looking for a takedown but Vinetto gets double underhooks and turns Gambino into the cage.
Vinetto lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gambino blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A frustrated look appears on Gambino's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Gambino can't find room to land a body shot as Vinetto controls the action.

Vinetto escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gambino just misses with a punch to the body.
Gambino loads up on a big right hand but Vinetto slips the punch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gambino goes for a double leg but Vinetto avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Vinetto continues to drive forward.
Vincent Vinetto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlo Gambino.

Vinetto's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Vinetto counters with a nice right hand that sends Gambino toppling to the canvas! Gambino scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Vinetto finish him?!

Gambino looks up at the clock. Bad move! Vinetto lands a right hand from hell, dropping Gambino. Vinetto pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
