Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scott Twellman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deivid Trenchev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Scott Twellman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Deivid Trenchev! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Twellman cracks a nice hook into Trenchev's ribs. Twellman listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Trenchev wants to clinch. A telegraphed right hand from Twellman misses the target. Twellman throws a head kick that misses. Trenchev tries to close the distance and clinch but Twellman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Twellman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Trenchev blocks a jab. Twellman scores with a nice right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Twellman does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Twellman connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Good work by Twellman as he checks the leg kick. Trenchev tries to close the distance and clinch but Twellman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Trenchev tries to clinch there but Twellman circles away.
We've been told by Twellman's head coaches at Hilo Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trenchev tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Trenchev tries to clinch up but Twellman circles away and keeps his distance. Trenchev tries to close the distance and clinch up but Twellman swats him away and circles back towards the center. Twellman cracks Trenchev with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Twellman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Trenchev.
Twellman lands a glancing blow to the side of Trenchev's head. Trenchev fails in his attempt to clinch. Trenchev needs to keep his hands up - Twellman had a free shot at his head there. Twellman circles away from the clinch attempt.
Twellman cracks Trenchev with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Trenchev is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Trenchev gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Twellman gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Trenchev is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Twellman! An out of breath Scott Twellman thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
