Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominguez throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Dominguez throws a low kick but it's checked well by Whittaker.
Whittaker stuffs the takedown attempt from Dominguez . Dominguez gets slowly back to his feet.
Dominguez tries to clinch up.
Whittaker closes the distance and clinches.
Dominguez tries to break the clinch but Whittaker is controlling the position.
Whittaker lands a right hand.
Dominguez blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Dominguez stops a takedown attempt from Whittaker.
Whittaker swings wildly with an uppercut but Dominguez uses good head movement to avoid it.

Dominguez is pressed up against the cage. Whittaker has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dominguez down to the mat. Dominguez avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Whittaker drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Dominguez is looking to regain half guard here but Whittaker keeps moving and retains side control.

Dominguez is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Whittaker off and has taken his back!
Whittaker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Whittaker wants to control from the top but Dominguez keeps moving.

Whittaker is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Dominguez is pulling down on Whittaker's head. It's preventing any offense from Whittaker, at least for the moment.

Dominguez wants to control but Whittaker is keeping busy and won't allow it.
