Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ronaldo Diaz!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nurray is fending him off so far but Diaz persists. Nope, Nurray circles away and we're back to standing.

Nurray lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Nurray had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Diaz is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nurray Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Diaz's back instead.

Diaz is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Nurray gets his way!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nurray is on top in guard.
Nurray is pushing down on Diaz's leg trying to pass to half guard. Diaz is fighting to maintain full guard but Nurray has managed to sneak the leg through.

Nurray is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Diaz defends it well.

Nurray jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Diaz is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Diaz and Nurray has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Nurray goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Diaz has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Nurray but great work by Diaz.
