Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shinji Tatsuya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tataki Mizuto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tataki Mizuto!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mizuto closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mizuto lands in his opponent's guard.
Mizuto in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Mizuto working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Mizuto's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mizuto accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mizuto is in close to Tatsuya's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Mizuto works over Tatsuya with some ground and pound from guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mizuto is working Tatsuya over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Mizuto not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Mizuto is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Mizuto lands a couple of elbows.
Mizuto pushes down on Tatsuya's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Mizuto slips a nice elbow through Tatsuya's hands, connecting with Tatsuya's forehead.
Mizuto winds up and cracks Tatsuya with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Mizuto scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Tatsuya on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Mizuto landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mizuto seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Mizuto is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tatsuya sees it coming and defends easily.
Tatsuya is trying to control but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mizuto is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Mizuto maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Tatsuya could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Mizuto has cracked it and Tatsuya is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Mizuto!
