2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keni Farc! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Farc is defended easily by Hodge. Farc stuffs the takedown attempt from Hodge. Hodge gets slowly back to his feet. Hodge shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Farc keeping full guard, as Hodge tries to pass. Farc working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hodge. Farc working a defensive guard here.
Hodge looking to sit in guard and control but Farc gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Farc wants to get up but he can't break Hodge's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Farc stops Hodge from standing up. Hodge is pulling down on Farc's head. It's preventing any offense from Farc, at least for the moment. Hodge keeping moving, preventing Farc from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Keni Farc. Hodge scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's two minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Farc's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hodge creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Farc can't do much from the bottom here. Farc taking punishment in the form of punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Farc is trying to get back to his feet. Farc prevents Hodge from improving position. Farc gets back to half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hodge wants to take a breather but Farc is having none of it. Hodge not doing much here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hodge is trying to control. Farc wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Farc pushes Hodge off looking to stand but Hodge dives back in and keeps control.
Hodge is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Farc is just riding it out for now. Hodge eventually gives up the hold. Hodge is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Farc still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Farc has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Farc decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hodge to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Farc leaves Hodge with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Farc clinches. Farc prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Hodge. That's going to take a lot out of him. Farc keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hodge's efforts to push away. Farc jumps guard and drags Hodge to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hodge wants to control from the top but Farc keeps moving. Farc looking to control.

Bobby Hodge dominated that round. That's time! Hodge's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Farc will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hodge shoots in but no luck this time. Hodge fails with a takedown attempt. Hodge swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hodge dives in and scores a takedown into Farc's guard. Farc is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hodge is aware though and is defending well. Hodge trying to control the position from guard on top but Farc is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Farc wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Farc trying to keep a closed guard but Hodge is proving a slippery customer.
Hodge is in close to Farc's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hodge looking to sit in guard and control but Farc gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Farc sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hodge's guard. Farc is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Farc looking to control and managing it successfully. Farc throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hodge because Farc loaded up on that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Farc looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Farc thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Farc misses with a head shot. Farc throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Farc wants to take his opponent's back but Hodge doesn't allow it. Hodge is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hodge on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hodge tries to get out of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hodge wants to control but Farc is having none of it. Hodge is desperately trying to improve his position but Farc has a good base and remains in mount. That's four minutes gone in the round. Farc can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hodge is looking to escape. Farc controlling from the full mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Keni Farc showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Farc clinches up against the cage. Hodge has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Farc avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Farc decides to pull guard. Hodge wants to control from the top but Farc keeps moving. Hodge lands a couple of elbows. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Farc is on top in guard.

Farc slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Hodge is looking to reverse the position. Hodge might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Farc wants to control but Hodge is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Farc working away. Farc throws an elbow but Hodge slips to the side and avoids it well. Hodge looking for a sweep but Farc has passed into full mount! Oh no! Farc throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Farc trying to control but Hodge is having none of it. Hodge is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Farc can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hodge is looking to escape. Hodge blocking the ground and pound. Farc looking to control but Hodge is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Hodge tries to buck Farc off but Farc takes his back! Hodge staying busy and making it hard for Farc to control.
