Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Prophet Mohammed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Earnest Abe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mohammed comes to the cage accompanied by Stupid music. Abe is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Uncle Sam Goddamn. Prophet Mohammed has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Earnest Abe!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abe blocks the body kick.
We've been told by Mohammed's head coaches at DUDES GYM...inc..CBK that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Abe swats away the attempt to clinch by Mohammed.
Abe misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mohammed thumps Abe with a low kick.
Abe moves out of range of the body kick from Mohammed.
Abe throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Abe scores with a hook.

Mohammed bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Abe felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Abe prevents Mohammed from improving position.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Abe holds on and takes a little breather.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mohammed takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Mohammed tries to close the distance and clinch but Abe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Abe uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Mohammed has time to react.

Abe fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mohammed is out of range.
Mohammed ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mohammed throws a body kick that misses.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mohammed lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Abe has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Abe and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Mohammed has closed the distance and engaged Abe in a clinch.
Abe blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Mohammed fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Abe lands a hook that snaps the head of Mohammed backwards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mohammed lands a brutal head kick. Abe looks out on his feet and Mohammed throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

A determined Prophet Mohammed didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
