Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien OQuinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Montana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Montana has chosen Straight Outta Compton-N.W.A as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Damien OQuinn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Montana! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Roberts and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! OQuinn gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. OQuinn gets control of Montana's arms and successfully pulls guard. OQuinn will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Montana trying to control but OQuinn is working from the bottom. Montana is stalling in the full guard. OQuinn is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. OQuinn keeping moving, preventing Montana from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up. George Montana was stalling too much, according to the referee. No luck for Montana with that takedown attempt. OQuinn moves into the clinch successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. OQuinn has picked Montana up - he's going for a ride! OQuinn dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Montana wants to get back to full guard. Montana blocking the ground and pound attempt from OQuinn. OQuinn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Montana on the ground. Montana looking for submissions off his back. OQuinn is nestled in close to Montana, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. OQuinn looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montana trying to control here.
OQuinn wants to get back to his feet.
OQuinn is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Montana! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. OQuinn goes for an armbar but Montana turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Montana.
That's three minutes gone in the round. OQuinn is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Montana is controlling him. OQuinn on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if OQuinn tries to get out of the position. OQuinn is breathing heavily. Montana drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Montana jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Montana prevents OQuinn from getting back to his feet. Montana trying to control but OQuinn is working from the bottom. Montana is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Montana stops OQuinn from standing up. Montana drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Montana jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. OQuinn wants to stand but Montana is controlling the position. OQuinn will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. OQuinn trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Montana slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. OQuinn keeping moving, preventing Montana from controlling successfully. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. George Montana was stalling too much, according to the referee. OQuinn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Montana with a poor takedown and OQuinn counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Montana manages to pull guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damien OQuinn dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Montana tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but OQuinn paws at him with a jab and circles away. Montana gets caught flat footed, as OQuinn shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. OQuinn has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Montana to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! OQuinn is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Montana pulls down on the head and he's put OQuinn to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). George Montana! A pretty intense looking George Montana took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
