Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Angus MacAngus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ESTEVAN JIMENEZ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

MacAngus drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

MacAngus wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by JIMENEZ, who protects the arm well.

MacAngus is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, JIMENEZ has escaped the position, nice work there.
MacAngus tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
JIMENEZ tries to strike from the bottom but misses.

JIMENEZ wants to control but MacAngus postures up.
JIMENEZ tries to get back to half guard but can't.
JIMENEZ is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, MacAngus asserts his dominance and retains side control.

JIMENEZ dodges the ground and pound from MacAngus.

JIMENEZ is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked MacAngus off and has taken his back!
JIMENEZ connects with a big shot to the side of MacAngus's head.
MacAngus manages to reverse the position and now he's in JIMENEZ's guard. Nice work there by MacAngus.

JIMENEZ manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. MacAngus manages to get himself to full guard.

JIMENEZ really doesn't want to stay on the ground with MacAngus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
JIMENEZ wants to get up but he can't break MacAngus's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

JIMENEZ thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

MacAngus bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in JIMENEZ's guard.

MacAngus sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed JIMENEZ's guard.
MacAngus not landing any meaningful shots this time.

MacAngus looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
MacAngus is pressing down on JIMENEZ's thigh, looking to free his foot. JIMENEZ is holding on for now.
MacAngus thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed JIMENEZ's head.

MacAngus stands up and beckons JIMENEZ to join him on the feet.

MacAngus is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so JIMENEZ is just riding it out for now. MacAngus eventually gives up the hold.

MacAngus drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and MacAngus jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
MacAngus changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. JIMENEZ tries to avoid it but MacAngus manages to keep hold of a leg and drag JIMENEZ to the ground. JIMENEZ escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

JIMENEZ shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. JIMENEZ showed some decent athleticism there.

MacAngus is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but JIMENEZ pulls his head out easily.

JIMENEZ lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
