Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyron Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Oro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Max Oro enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tyron Marshall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Oro! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marshall shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Oro but Oro pushes him off and we're back to square one. Oro stuffs the takedown attempt from Marshall. Marshall gets slowly back to his feet. Oro tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Marshall swivels and escapes. Oro shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Marshall tries to kick Oro off but Oro keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Oro is just content to waste time from the top position. Marshall takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Marshall is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Oro is controlling him. Oro tries to free his leg and advance position but Marshall is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oro trying to control but Marshall is working from the bottom. Oro must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Marshall wants to get back to his feet but Oro is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Oro trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Marshall wants to stand up but Oro is controlling him.
Max Oro has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Oro looks to score with a jab to the body but Marshall is just out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oro is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Marshall. Marshall is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Marshall wants to clinch up but Oro keeps it at a distance. Marshall has been working on his balance at Build Up Crossfit, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Oro. Oro avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Marshall tries to clinch but Oro moves out of range. Oro shoots in and bounces Marshall off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Oro wants to stand and escape but instead Marshall has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Oro is trying to keep Marshall in close.
Marshall is pushing down on Oro's leg trying to pass to half guard. Oro is fighting to maintain full guard but Marshall has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marshall performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Oro tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Oro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marshall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Oro is looking to control Marshall's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Oro avoid being mounted? Oro misses with some strikes from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Oro can do anything to dispel that myth. Marshall stands up from half guard. Marshall fails in his attempt to clinch. Marshall wants to clinch up but Oro keeps it at a distance. Marshall looks for a takedown but Oro sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyron Marshall. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oro is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Marshall's half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oro is working for a kimura here but Marshall manages to reverse the position and he's now in Oro's guard.
Oro is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Marshall defends well. Marshall throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Marshall won't allow Oro to sweep him here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Marshall trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Marshall tries to stand but Oro is controlling from the bottom. Oro should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Oro preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Oro is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tyron Marshall will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Oro closes the distance and clinches. Marshall manages to break the clinch.
Oro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Marshall tries to avoid it but Oro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Marshall to the ground. Marshall escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Marshall scoring well with a low kick there.
Marshall tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Oro paws at him with a jab and circles away. Marshall has taken the fight to the clinch.
Marshall drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Oro gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Oro is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Marshall pulls him back up using the underhooks. A frustrated look appears on Oro's face as he tries to break the clinch. Marshall comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Max Oro has been cut. Oro has Marshall pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Marshall manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Tyron Marshall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Oro. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Marshall avoiding damage as Oro throws knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marshall looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Oro tries to break free but Marshall pushes him back against the cage. Marshall lands an elbow inside. Oro is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Marshall gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Marshall drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Marshall looking to slow down the pace here. Oro tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Marshall smiles and moves away.
Marshall shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Oro as he jumps to the side. Marshall tries to clinch but Oro moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oro circles away from the clinch attempt and Oro counters by clinching up. Oro tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Oro looking to slow down the pace here. Marshall has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Oro avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Marshall lands a nice elbow from the clinch. A knee to the head by Marshall.
Marshall is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Oro tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Marshall smiles and moves away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The fight stays on the outside here - Marshall looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marshall tries to clinch but Oro moves out of range. Oro closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Marshall's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Oro accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Oro tries to stand but Marshall is controlling from the bottom. Oro postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Marshall is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Oro, into his guard. Marshall stands and steps away. Oro gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Tyron Marshall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marshall tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Oro paws at him with a jab and circles away. Marshall tries to clinch but Oro moves out of range. Marshall checks a low kick from Oro. A nice combination there by Marshall.
Marshall lands with a big left! Oro is wobbled badly! Marshall comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Oro to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
