The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gans keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Gans connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Smith's hands.

Gans rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smith moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gans is trying hard to land a takedown here. Smith sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
