Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gino Haley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Lililov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lililov has chosen Nickelback - Leader Of Men as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lililov fails with a takedown attempt.
Lililov moves into the clinch successfully.
Haley lands with a short head shot on the inside.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Haley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lililov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Haley has managed to get both his arms back between Lililov's legs - danger averted.
Lililov throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Haley escapes and throws Lililov's legs to the side, diving into side control!
A lull in the action here as Haley stalls from top position.

Haley remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Lililov tries to bench press Haley off him but Haley keeps the position.
Lililov is looking to get back to his feet here but Haley is keeping cool and he's managed to take Lililov's back.

Haley stuffs the takedown.

Lililov is breathing heavily.
Haley closes the distance and pushes Lililov back into the cage.
Haley is working for takedown but Lililov is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lililov seems to have recovered his senses.
Haley has Lililov pressed against the cage, preventing Lililov from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Haley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lililov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Haley.

Haley shoots for a takedown but Lililov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Haley circles away from the clinch attempt.

Lililov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Haley sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Haley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lililov's waist but Lililov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Haley off to one side.

Lililov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Haley, pushing him back against the cage.
Haley drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lililov gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Lililov tries to pull guard but Haley won't allow it.
Lililov is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Haley has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lililov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Lililov lands a shot to the body.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Haley takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Haley stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Haley wants to control from the top but Lililov keeps moving.
Lililov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Haley defends it easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Poor strikes thrown by Haley there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Haley manages to capitalize on a mistake by Lililov to take his back!
Haley is looking for the choke from the back position but Lililov is controlling his hands well.

Lililov avoids the strikes from Haley.

Lililov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Haley thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.

I really don't envy Lililov right now.
Haley is not going to allow Lililov to sit and survive in this position.
You can see the frustration on Lililov's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Haley is riding his opponent, not letting Lililov buck him off.

Even with his hooks in, Haley manages to miss with strikes from the back.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Haley is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Lililov knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Lililov for a finish.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gino Haley.
