Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Bowers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boxer King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcos Bowers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boxer King! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King dives in and grabs Bowers's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bowers pushes down on King's head and hops out. King darts in looking for a takedown but Bowers gets double underhooks and turns King into the cage. Bowers breaks the clinch.
Bowers closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. King did well to prevent Bowers getting side control. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Bowers is trying to work for a kimura but King is defending well.
Bowers perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Bowers takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. King is looking to control Bowers's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can King avoid being mounted? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Bowers is staying active.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowers wants to stand up but King has a hold of him and won't allow it. Bowers is sneakily working for an arm triangle but King sees it coming and defends easily. Bowers controlling the pace. Bowers wants to take a breather but King is having none of it. King pushes Bowers off and gets back to his feet. Bowers shoots in looking for a takedown but King manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bowers's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. An inside leg kick from King misses. Bowers wants to slow King down by chopping away at his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bowers stuffs the takedown. Marcos Bowers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boxer King. King misses with the combination.
Bowers drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Bowers has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of King is proving hard to escape from. King is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. King is trying to keep Bowers in close.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bowers wants to stand but King is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King keeping moving, preventing Bowers from controlling successfully. Bowers looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Marcos Bowers. King avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
King scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. King fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bowers tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but King swivels and escapes. Bowers wants to clinch up but King keeps it at a distance. King shoots in looking for a takedown. Bowers tries to sprawl out of it but King keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bowers manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. King looks winded! Bowers closes the distance and pushes King back into the cage. King is trying to maintain a safe position but Bowers gets an underhook and turns King into the cage. King wants to break the clinch but can't.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bowers breaks the clinch.
King fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bowers feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcos Bowers dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

King tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bowers manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. King gets tackled into the cage by Bowers. Bowers maintains the clinch. Bowers prevents King from breaking the clinch. King is breathing heavily. Bowers misses with a hook from the clinch.

Bowers pushes King up against the cage in a clinch. King tries to circle away but Bowers has him pinned against the cage. King tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Bowers with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling King to score with a decent uppercut. King closes the distance and clinches up with Bowers, looking for a takedown. King pushes Bowers against the cage but Bowers circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bowers gets a double leg takedown into King's guard. King has momentary wrist control but Bowers slips an elbow through the middle. Marcos Bowers overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bowers has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of King is proving hard to escape from. King being controlled here, momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bowers passes King's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bowers is looking for a kimura here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bowers winds up and cracks King with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Bowers looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. King is defending against the submission attempts here by Bowers.
Bowers seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcos Bowers dominated that second round. That's time! Bowers's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Bowers rushes King and presses him up against the cage. Bowers breaks the clinch.
Bowers shoots in for a double leg but King sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bowers fails with an attempt to clinch.
King shoots in for a takedown but Bowers shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bowers throws a sloppy head kick and King moves out of range easily. Bowers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bowers shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bowers was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! King is trying to control Bowers's posture but Bowers avoids it. Bowers wants to stand but King has his arm trapped. Bowers taking a breather here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowers tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Bowers tries for a kimura but King is defending well. Bowers wants to control but King is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. King can't do much from the bottom here. Bowers controls the position from side control. King tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. King is trying to escape the position but Bowers is controlling the position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. King is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bowers asserts his dominance and retains side control. Bowers wants to stand but King is controlling his arm.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bowers advances nicely into full mount. King is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
King takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. King is still trying to improve position. Bowers lands with some vicious ground and pound - can King hang on?

Bowers is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
