Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Takeru Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I Like to Move It. Guy has chosen Old Spice Guy Intro as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Guy as he jumps to the side.
Kyle checks a leg kick nicely.
Guy connects with a single shot there.
Kyle keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Guy misses with a leg kick.

Guy throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Kyle counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Guy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Kyle takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kyle bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Guy misses with a series of wild punches.
Guy looks to land a right hand but Kyle moved out of range.
Guy throws a jab when Kyle was well out of range.

Kyle slips under a jab from Guy.
Kyle shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Guy is trying to defend but Kyle finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Guy is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kyle's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kyle's back!
I really don't envy Kyle right now.
Guy gets to his feet! The crowd go wild in anticipation of a knockout!

Kyle misses with a takedown attempt - Guy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Guy throws a hook but Kyle avoids it easily.
Kyle loads up on a big right hand but Guy slips the punch.
Kyle moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Guy misses with a looping left.

Guy thows a body shot but no joy.
Guy misses with a hook. Kyle ducked under it nicely.
Guy throws a right hand that Kyle ducks under and follows up with a left that Kyle also avoids with ease.
Kyle feints a jab promting Guy to slip. Kyle then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Guy slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like The Guy has been cut.
Guy scoring well with a low kick there.
Guy is looking to chop away at Kyle's legs.
Guy thumps Kyle with a low kick.
Kyle moves into the clinch.
Kyle lands a hook that snaps the head of Guy backwards.
I was talking to Kyle's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Guy lands a right hand.
Kyle tries to throw a body punch but Guy avoids it by throwing Kyle back against the cage.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Guy obliges.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Guy creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Guy lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Oh Kyle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Guy blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Guy throws a big uppercut that drops Kyle! More strikes from Guy and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Kyle lies dazed against the cage as Guy celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Guy!
