Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hammer Fist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Page! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hammer Fist! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Page throws a head kick but Fist moves out of range.
Fist moves out of range of the leg kick from Page. Fist tries for a takedown but Page circles away easily and Page counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Page. Page has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Fist regains guard immediately. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Fist escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Page gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Page pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fist is keeping the position for now. Page trying to control the position from guard on top but Fist is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fist has a closed guard, preventing Page from standing up. Fist is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Page defends well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fist keeping moving, preventing Page from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Page tries to stand but Fist is controlling from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Michael Page. Page tries a head kick but it misses.
Page scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fist doesn't seem bothered though. A decent looking body kick lands there for Page. Fist blocks a jab. A nice inside leg kick there by Page. That's going to slow Fist down. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Page fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fist looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fist takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Page throws a head kick but Fist moves out of range.

Page shoots in and gets a takedown into Fist's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fist keeping moving, preventing Page from controlling successfully. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Michael Page just wasn't active enough. Fist takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
We've been told by Page's head coaches at LOD: EUOLUCAO MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Page throws a sloppy head kick and Fist moves out of range easily. Page misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Page looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Fist tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Page just stands there and leans against the cage. Page's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Page tries a head kick but it misses.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Page dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Page throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A head kick misses from Page. Fist avoids the head kick by Page.

Page connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Page tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Page tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Page shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fist manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Fist had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Page defends it easily. Page is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Fist has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Page is looking to defend but Fist has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Page! Fist pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Page taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Hammer Fist!
