Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saint Nick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Lopez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Saint Nick!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Reed Andrews and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nick throws a good cross that connects.

It looks like Tony Lopez has been cut.
Lopez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nick as he jumps to the side.
Nick throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lopez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Lopez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lopez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Lopez's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nick on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Lopez tries to move to mount but Nick blocks the move with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lopez throws an elbow but Nick slips to the side and avoids it well.
Lopez controls the position.
Lopez is looking to take a break and control but Nick is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Nick managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Lopez.
Nick really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lopez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lopez tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Lopez misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Nick dodges the ground and pound from Lopez.

Lopez has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Nick is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Lopez landing strikes from the mount and Nick is in trouble!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lopez lands a big elbow.
Lopez unloads with some shots from mount but Nick bucks and avoids them well.
The referee warns Nick that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Lopez is landing with some decent strikes but Nick is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Nick is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lopez is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Nick goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Lopez!
