The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moretti drops Doe with a big left hand and mounts him. Doe is in big trouble!
It looks like John Doe has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Moretti wants to get back to his feet but Doe is holding on tight.
Moretti controlling the pace for now.
Doe really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Moretti tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Sonny Moretti hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Moretti lands a jab to Doe's midsection.
No luck for Doe with that takedown attempt.

Moretti connects with a superb combination that knocks Doe out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Moretti before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Doe!
