Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between King Ahkenaton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dack Fayden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ahkenaton 's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sweet Taste of India. Dack Fayden acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dack Fayden!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Kavanagh and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fayden rushes Ahkenaton and presses him up against the cage.
Fayden looking to stall.
Fayden stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Ahkenaton wants the takedown. Fayden is fighting it off but Ahkenaton persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Fayden's guard against the cage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ahkenaton throwing strikes from guard but Fayden blocks nicely.
Ahkenaton throws a big elbow that misses.

Fayden had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ahkenaton defends it easily.
Fayden looking for a sweep. Not yet Fayden, not yet.
Fayden is still trying to improve position.

Ahkenaton lands a couple of digs.

Fayden is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Fayden controls Ahkenaton momentarily but Ahkenaton frees himself.
Ahkenaton throwing strikes but missing.
Ahkenaton scoring with punches to the head and body.
Ahkenaton working some strikes from top position.
Fayden is pulling down on Ahkenaton 's head to control his posture.

Fayden has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ahkenaton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Ahkenaton pushes down on Fayden's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Ahkenaton is looking to stall here but Fayden recovers full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Ahkenaton lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Fayden is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ahkenaton is trying to stand.

Fayden looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Fayden is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Ahkenaton looks like he's trying to stand up.
Ahkenaton trying to control from the bottom.

Fayden is looking for a kimura here.
Fayden works his way into full mount!
Ahkenaton avoids a series of strikes thrown by Fayden.

Fayden wants to control the pace but Ahkenaton is squirming around nicely.
Ahkenaton really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Fayden is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Ahkenaton has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Ahkenaton !
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fayden looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dack Fayden will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



A momentary lapse in concentration from Ahkenaton enables Fayden to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ahkenaton manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Fayden is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ahkenaton has managed to free his arm - good work.

Ahkenaton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Ahkenaton pushes Fayden off looking to stand but Fayden dives back in and keeps control.
Fayden works his foot free and advances to mount.

Fayden is stalling here but it's allowed Ahkenaton to get half guard.
Ahkenaton tries to get to full guard but Fayden has control of the leg.

Fayden seems to be working for a kimura but Ahkenaton defends the submission attempt.
Ahkenaton wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fayden seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ahkenaton does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Fayden wants to work for an arm triangle but Ahkenaton is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Fayden is looking to stall here but Ahkenaton recovers full guard.
Fayden slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Fayden has hold of Ahkenaton 's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Ahkenaton seems comfortable defending it but Fayden has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Ahkenaton is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Ahkenaton is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Fayden couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dack Fayden!
