Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greger Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Punch comes to the cage accompanied by The Chain. Mike Punch has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mike Punch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Greger Mousasi! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Punch tries to clinch up. Punch lands a high kick!
Punch fails in his attempt to clinch. Mousasi shoots in for a double leg but Punch sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Punch tries to clinch up. Punch lands a nice looking kick to the body. Mousasi takes a step back to recover. Punch has closed the distance and engaged Mousasi in a clinch.
Punch is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Punch is stalling here.
Punch escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mousasi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Mousasi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Mousasi tries to control but Punch wriggling away. Punch tries to hold on but Mousasi pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Punch tries to reverse the position but Mousasi maintains control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You get the feeling that Punch really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Mousasi avoids the attempt from Punch to control. Mousasi looking to finish Punch with some ground and pound. This is bad for Punch! Punch is in a horrible position here. Mousasi smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Punch is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mousasi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Punch is breathing heavily. Mousasi working away from the top, dropping strikes. Mousasi fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Mousasi with a couple of short strikes. Punch really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Punch taking shots to the head. Mousasi with shots to the head and body - Punch looks very uncomfortable down there. Punch is bucking up trying to escape but Mousasi cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Mousasi lands a heavy elbow.
Punch is rocked! Mousasi cracks Punch with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Oh Punch is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Punch is bucking up trying to escape but Mousasi cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Mousasi unloading with bombs! Mousasi loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Punch scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Mousasi land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Mousasi stands and salutes the crowd.
