Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, FABRICIO NUNEZ! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Columbo Gatti and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thunderhowl fails with an attempt to clinch.
NUNEZ looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Thunderhowl tries to clinch up but NUNEZ circles away and keeps his distance. Thunderhowl fails in his attempt to clinch. NUNEZ looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Thunderhowl is fending him off so far but NUNEZ persists. Nope, Thunderhowl circles away and we're back to standing. NUNEZ misses with a few strikes there.
NUNEZ shoots for a takedown but Thunderhowl saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Lars Thunderhowl has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of FABRICIO NUNEZ. NUNEZ shoots in looking for a takedown. Thunderhowl tries to sprawl out of it but NUNEZ keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Thunderhowl manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Thunderhowl tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but NUNEZ paws at him with a jab and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. NUNEZ fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Thunderhowl is looking to take this fight into the clinch. NUNEZ looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Thunderhowl is fending him off so far but NUNEZ persists. Nope, Thunderhowl circles away and we're back to standing.

The fight stays on the outside here - Thunderhowl looks like he's thinking about clinching though. NUNEZ throws a right hand that Thunderhowl ducks under and follows up with a left that Thunderhowl also avoids with ease. Thunderhowl moves in looking to clinch but NUNEZ pushes him off. Thunderhowl stuffs the takedown attempt from NUNEZ. NUNEZ gets slowly back to his feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Thunderhowl looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Thunderhowl moves in looking to clinch but NUNEZ pushes him off. Thunderhowl tries to close the distance and clinch up but NUNEZ swats him away and circles back towards the center. NUNEZ wants to clinch up but Thunderhowl keeps it at a distance. Thunderhowl closes the distance looking to clinch and NUNEZ counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by NUNEZ.
That's two minutes gone in the round. NUNEZ pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Thunderhowl is keeping the position for now. NUNEZ won't allow Thunderhowl to get back to his feet. NUNEZ seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Thunderhowl is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst NUNEZ is controlling him. NUNEZ is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Thunderhowl wants to stand up but NUNEZ is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. NUNEZ throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Thunderhowl is looking to stand up but NUNEZ isn't so interested in that idea.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. NUNEZ tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Thunderhowl swivels and escapes. NUNEZ looks gassed! NUNEZ will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Thunderhowl tries to clinch up and NUNEZ counters with a right hand to the body. Thunderhowl gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Thunderhowl lands a damaging elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. NUNEZ tries to break the clinch but Thunderhowl is controlling the position. Thunderhowl tries to land knees in the clinch but NUNEZ avoids the damage to the body. NUNEZ pulls guard successfully.
Thunderhowl wants to get up but he can't break NUNEZ's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Thunderhowl being controlled here momentarily. NUNEZ is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Thunderhowl decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on NUNEZ, up you get! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
FABRICIO NUNEZ dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Thunderhowl tries to clinch but NUNEZ moves out of range. Thunderhowl tries to clinch but fails miserably and NUNEZ decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Thunderhowl's guard. NUNEZ passes into half guard. NUNEZ performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. NUNEZ stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Thunderhowl clinches but NUNEZ breaks the clinch and NUNEZ holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. NUNEZ is breathing heavily. Thunderhowl keeps control of NUNEZ as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Thunderhowl scores a nice knee to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. NUNEZ tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Thunderhowl just stands there and leans against the cage. Thunderhowl throws a knee to the head but misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. NUNEZ has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Thunderhowl clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Thunderhowl is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Thunderhowl trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. NUNEZ throwing sloppy strikes. Thunderhowl trying to get back to his feet but NUNEZ is in full control for now. NUNEZ controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thunderhowl has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. NUNEZ has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Thunderhowl is defending well but eventually NUNEZ manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Thunderhowl has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
