Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between New Dalton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Kelso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that New Dalton has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily New Dalton seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, New Dalton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bill Kelso! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dalton tries to move into range but Kelso moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Kelso bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Dalton swings away with a leg kick that misses. Dalton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dalton tries to close the distance and clinch but Kelso swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kelso avoids a punch combination nicely.
A cross from Kelso lands. Dalton misses with a two punch combination.
Dalton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dalton looks to land a combination but Kelso avoids it well. Kelso stuns Dalton with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dalton tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kelso defends well and Dalton ends up having to push Kelso into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Dalton is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Kelso scores with a hook to the body. Dalton is breathing heavily. A shot in the inside from Kelso. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Kelso lands a hook that snaps the head of Dalton backwards.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kelso keeps control of Dalton as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kelso lands a right hand that snaps the head of Dalton backwards. Kelso is pushing Dalton up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Dalton is trying to force a seperation but Kelso has the dominant position. Kelso softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Kelso has Dalton pushed against the cage. Kelso gets through Dalton's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Dalton swings wildly with an uppercut but Kelso uses good head movement to avoid it. Kelso has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. So far he's outscoring his opponent in the clinch so it seems to have been worthwhile. Dalton wants to take the fight to the mat but Kelso manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Kelso working some nice short punches in the clinch. Dalton is rocked! Kelso softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Oh Dalton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kelso is working Dalton over against the cage. Kelso lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A short body shot lands from Kelso as the two fighters clinch.
Kelso slowing the pace effectively. Kelso pushes Dalton back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Dalton seems to have got his legs back now. The referee is keeping an eye on Kelso - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Bill Kelso. Kelso lands with a right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Kelso throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Dalton is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
