Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Sunpower (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan DePloi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Magnus Sunpower!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DePloi fails with the takedown
and Sunpower counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
DePloi has his takedown stuffed
and Sunpower counters by moving into the clinch.
DePloi tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sunpower smiles and moves away.
Magnus Sunpower has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan DePloi.
DePloi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. DePloi showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Sunpower tries to get to full guard but DePloi has control of the leg.
Sunpower is trying to stand up here but DePloi is controlling him well.
Sunpower is pressing down on DePloi's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Sunpower looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Sunpower really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sunpower throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Sunpower will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

DePloi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Sunpower is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sunpower trying to keep a closed guard but DePloi is proving a slippery customer.
DePloi won't allow Sunpower to sweep him here.
DePloi wants to control from the top but Sunpower keeps moving.
Sunpower thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
DePloi drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sunpower dives on top into guard.
Sunpower avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
DePloi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sunpower can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sunpower sitting in guard, not really doing much.
DePloi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sunpower gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Sunpower wants to pass the guard but DePloi is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
DePloi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sunpower doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sunpower manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
DePloi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
DePloi wants to hit a switch here but Sunpower passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for DePloi there!
Sunpower trying to control but he's not successful this time.
DePloi bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
DePloi showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

DePloi slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
DePloi is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Sunpower looks calm but he's in trouble here. DePloi gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Sunpower is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! DePloi lets go of the hold and Sunpower can pop his arm back in it's socket.
