5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brick House! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chason tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but House defends well and Chason ends up having to push House into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. House gets underhooks to prevent Chason's takedown attempt.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as House takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. House pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Chason tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but House swivels and escapes. We've been hearing reports that Chason has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chase Chason. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chason fails with a takedown attempt. Nice takedown defense from House. No joy for Chason on that attempt. Chason shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. House is trying to defend but Chason finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. House controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. House's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Chason is pressing down on House's thigh, looking to free his foot. House is holding on for now.

Chason is sneakily working for an arm triangle but House sees it coming and defends easily. Chason trying to mount his opponent but House defends it. Chason is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for House!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chason fails to move to back control. House defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Chason. Chason is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. House is in real trouble.
Chason patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. You can see the frustration on House's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
This has been an exciting period of action! House fending off the submission attempt from Chason. House preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Chason. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

House closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Chason tries for a takedown but House manages to get underhooks.
House lands a hook to the side of the head. Chason drops to a knee looking for a takedown but House gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Chason goes for a takedown in the clinch but House prevents it.

Chason looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? House is fending him off so far but Chason persists. Nope, House circles away and we're back to standing. House fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Chason shoots in and drives through. House sprawls well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! House looks to land a combination. Chason sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Chason is rocked! House closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Chason out cold! Chason corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
