Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcas Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcas Gray! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Richard Rage! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Columbo Gatti and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rage fails with the takedown. Gray drops Rage with a left and a right! Oh, Rage is hurt - Gray dives into side control looking to finish!
Rage is rocked! Gray moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Rage is still in real trouble! Can Gray finish him? Gray's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Gray stands up and beckons Rage to his feet. Rage seems to have recovered his senses. Gray rushes Rage and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Gray lands an elbow just above Rage 's eye. Gray breaks the clinch.
Gray shoots in and drives through. Rage sprawls well. Gray moves into the clinch. Gray is pressed up against the cage. Rage has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gray down to the mat. Gray avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Gray misses with a head kick.
Gray feints and as Rage raises his hands in defense, Gray changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rage is looking for a triangle but Gray pushes his legs off easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rage looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gray scoring with punches to the head and body. Gray has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rage is proving hard to escape from. Gray controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Gray knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rage on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rage working for a triangle but Gray defends it easily.
Rage looks gassed! Gray is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gray cracks Rage with a solid left hand. Gray gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Rage tries for a takedown but Gray circles away easily and Gray moves into the clinch. Marcas Gray has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Rage. Gray breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Gray gets a clinch. Gray manages to pull guard.

Gray striking off his back but it's not causing Rage any problems. Gray is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Rage pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gray is keeping the position for now. Rage won't allow Gray to get back to his feet. Gray is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gray has taken the fight to the clinch.
Gray wants a takedown.
Rage tries to score a body lock takedown but Gray shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Gray has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rage uses from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rage tries to free his leg and advance position but Gray is retaining full guard. Gray is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gray holds on and takes a little breather. Gray looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Rage in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Gray trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Rage trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rage throws a big right hand that misses.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gray shoots in for a takedown but Rage shows good takedown defense. Rage shoots and misses and Gray counters by clinching up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcas Gray dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Gray rushes Rage and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Rage is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Gray pulls him back up using the underhooks. Gray lands a left hand that snaps the head of Rage backwards. Gray leaning his opponent against the cage. Gray breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gray fails with the takedown. Gray darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Rage tries to get to full guard but Gray has control of the leg. Rage moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Gray tries to free his leg and advance position but Rage is retaining full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gray won't allow Rage to get back to his feet. Gray wants to stand but Rage is controlling his posture from full guard. Gray trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Rage will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Gray stands up and waves to Rage to follow him. Marcas Gray is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rage misses with a takedown and Gray counters with a stiff right hand. A thudding body kick lands there by Gray!
Gray has a takedown stuffed. Rage fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gray sprawls well initially but Rage persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gray pushes Rage off looking to stand but Rage dives back in and keeps control.
Gray is trying to get back to full guard. Rage not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Rage is looking for a kimura but Gray is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rage to get the leverage. Rage not landing any meaningful shots this time. Gray tries to get to full guard but Rage has control of the leg. Gray is holding on to half guard well. Gray keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gray looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Gray is trying to control the action in half guard but Rage is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rage is defending against the submission attempts here by Gray.
Gray is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Gray wants to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gray blocks the strikes from Rage.

Marcas Gray overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rage is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Rage is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are battling for position here. Gray manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Gray looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rage throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rage slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Gray is trying to get back to half guard. Gray is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Rage tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Rage wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gray, who protects the arm well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rage in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Gray is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
